When I found out that I had to strip as many toxins out of my products and my food, I have to admit… I freaked out for a second about using natural deodorant! I was scared. I didn’t want to smell! I had tried others in the past just trying to be more conscious about the products I put on my skin, but nothing worked like my conventional deodorant! To say the least, I was certainly on edge about trying any other brands! So… I did what I do, I started to read reviews! Hands down, I couldn’t shy away from the positive reviews for Bali Secrets Natural Deodorant. And I am so glad I didn’t!

Bali Secrets Natural Deodorant is unlike any of those natural “stick” deodorants and even the other roller-ball natural deodorants.
For starters, it’s a clear roll-on that has a pleasant scent – you won’t smell like you dipped yourself in a vat of essential oils. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it’s not necessarily my style! 😉 I bought the Original Essence, but they have 5 different scents to choose from, including an unscented deodorant. The Aloe Delight is on my wish list – it sounds so refreshing and moisturizing! (It may even be a contender for my husband to try!)
The folks at Bali Secrets actually care about what we put on our bodies because they use it too! According to their website, the product contains the following ingredients – and only these ingredients:
Natural Mineral Salt
Alcohol (as a preservative – it looks to be a very small amount)
Galangal (think ginger!)
I don’t know about you, but I can pronounce everything on that list. (Well… maybe I’m not saying Galangal right, but let’s overlook that one!) For a company to be that transparent about their product is phenomenal! They also claim that their products are all organic, vegan and cruelty-free. Check, check and check again!
Now for the Bali Secrets Natural Deodorant review…
I have been using the Bali Secrets Natural Deodorant in the Original Essence scent for about a week now. I can say that without a shadow of doubt, it totally works for me.
A major plus – I don’t smell myself coming or going, and it hasn’t caused any irritation to my underarms – even after shaving. The deodorant is exceptionally easy to apply. You simply shake it up, remove the cap and roll it on with a few swipes. The Bali Secrets held strong through a 3-hour trip to purchase a new vehicle (stressful!), a few light to moderate workouts and some days of shopping and running errands.
The manufacturers claim that a little goes a long way – I would definitely agree with that statement. I’m yet to see if it really lasts 3 months as they say, but only time will tell.
