If you are using Google’s Blogger platform for your space, you can’t afford to forget these three simple blog maintenance steps. Step 1: From your blogger dashboard, click on “Template” in the left hand column.

Step 2: Choose “Backup/Restore” in the right upper corner of the webpage.

Step 3: Click “Download Full Template.” Blogger will automatically send a download of your entire website template to your “downloads” folder on your computer’s hard drive.

NOTE: The download generated by Blogger will be named “template-########…” (The numbers indicated a long series of multiple numbers generated by Google.) I recommend that you rename this file with your website name and date so that it is easily accessible and you are able to choose your most recent download easily, should you need the backup.

There you have it! It’s that simple to create a backup of your Blogger blog’s template!
